COMMISSIONS

Life is Music

Pine Knoll Blues

Sunset's Beauty

Nothing brings me greater joy than to create an original piece of artwork for a client and see the look on their face when they see the final results. I welcome the creative collaboration that comes from a commissioned art piece.

Below are a some questions to get you started planning for your
space, followed by a few FAQ about the work process:

  • What space are you wanting to fill?
Think about avoiding direct sunlight or spaces with lots of humidity or strong odors.
  • Do you have a specific size in mind?
  • Do you have a specific price range in mind?
  • Do you have favorite colors, shapes, or objects that you would like incorporated into the art piece?
  • If this is for a gift or event, what kind of timeline do we have?

FAQ

How long is the process from start to finish?
The length of time varies according to size and difficulty. Once we get through the design process, deadlines will be set for payments and shipping.

Will you make one of your patterns or a different colorway of another art piece from your website?
Yes. Bring your ideas to the design process and I will be happy to discuss them.

How involved can I be?
You can be as involved as you choose to be. I have worked with clients who knew exactly what they wanted to others who gave me a size, a color and no other limitations. This art will live in your space.
A basic design outline will be provided for your approval before I move forward.
There is a non-refundable design fee for original art that is waived for duplicates of my patterns.

What is the best way to pay?
I accept checks, money orders, and Paypal. The contract is laid out in preset installments to ease larger totals.

How will my art be shipped?
I will either use UPS or US Postal with tracking. The art will be packaged in a way to cushion and weatherproof it.

To avoid miscommunications, every aspect of this adventure will be put in writing for your approval before we begin. Please feel free to email me with any other questions or to see a draft of the contract: robin@nestlingsbyrobin.com
